The short version: Use Face2FaceAI only with images you have the right to use. You own your images. Don't use the app to deceive, harass, or impersonate anyone. Subscriptions auto-renew and are governed by Google Play's standard policies.
By downloading or using the Face2FaceAI app ("the App") or visiting face2faceai.com ("the Website"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App or Website. The App is developed and operated by Stan Schwartz ("we," "us," or "our"). You can reach us at dev@face2faceai.com.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Face2FaceAI. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
Face2FaceAI is a creative tool for personal expression, photography, and entertainment. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the App to:

You retain full ownership of all images you process with Face2FaceAI. We do not claim any rights to your photos or to the output images generated by the App.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any images you use with the App — including images of other people — are used with appropriate consent and in compliance with applicable law. Processing a photo of another person without their knowledge or consent may violate privacy laws in your jurisdiction. We are not responsible for how you use the output images produced by the App.

Face2FaceAI offers a Freemium tier (free, with ads and watermark) and a Premium tier (paid subscription via Google Play).
Free trial: New users may receive a 7-day free Premium trial. The trial automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before it expires.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Google Play according to their standard refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit Google Play's refund help page.
Premium features: Premium features are available only while your subscription is active and verified. If your subscription lapses or payment fails, Premium features will become unavailable after any applicable grace period.
Face2FaceAI uses AI models to transfer facial expressions between photos. Results depend on many factors including image quality, face angle, lighting, and the degree of difference between source and target faces. We make no guarantee that the App will produce satisfactory results for any particular image or use case. Output quality may vary significantly between images, and some images may produce poor or unexpected results.
The App is provided for personal, creative, and entertainment use. It is not suitable for medical, legal, forensic, biometric, or security applications.
The Face2FaceAI app, its design, code, and expression template library are owned by Stan Schwartz and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. The expression transfer models are based on LivePortrait by KwaiVGI, used under the MIT License.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App or its components without our written permission, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
The App and Website are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or reputational harm, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App or Website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stan Schwartz and Face2FaceAI from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third party's rights.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App or Website at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. Sections 4, 7, 8, 9, and 10 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Pennsylvania, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date above. Continued use of the App or Website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
